JOB PURPOSE
Manager Infrastructure is responsible for Architecture and Design of new AWS based infrastructure components to cater to account/project needs as well as operations stability of existing infrastructure platform. He will own setup, operations, security and stability of various services and sites on development/QA/production environment, associated hardware, operating system, software products and network services
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
An experienced Network services and Windows Server Architect. Should have solid Administration knowledge and experience in setting up and scaling on windows based operating system including IIS and Content Management Systems(CMS)SDL Tridion. Experienced on AWS servicesEC2, ELB, S3, Cloud Front, Route 53, Amazon VPC, Glacier, SES/SNS etc.
The role is of managing Infrastructure and Operations for an account having more than 220 AWS servers and 800+ web sites running on IIS and Tridion. It involves implementing best practices for setup, configuration, administration and monitoring of development, testing & production environments and web services. Day-to-day activities will include resolving escalated P1 issues, finalizing changes through Change control process and ensuring SLAs around availability of servers, sites and services, and Turn-around times for critical operation requests. The role also involves gathering infrastructure requirements, participating in physical architecture design with Architects in Infra, Products and Project teams, as well as design and setup of IT operational processes.
Help and develop skills of Senior Associates in the team on daily basis, to implement industry best practices within account and grow skills of the technical team.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Must Have
•Experience on Application Support ,Level 3 support, Application rollout and Application design
•8 to 10 years’ experience in Windows servers and Network services Infrastructure management.
•Atleast 2 years experienced in leading and running a Windows server and web sites(IIS) Infrastructure team of more than 20 people, on AWS, catering to geographically distributed project teams and owning senior client stakeholder relationships.
•Good knowledge of IIS, Active Directory Server, Group Policies, performance monitoring, DNS, ELB, SSL Certificates, Network Services and associated server hardware.
•Working experience on AWS cloud services specifically EC2, ELB, VPC, S3, Route 53 and Cloud Front
•Advance level knowledge on Batch or Power Shell scripting
•Basic knowledge of relational databases and experience in supporting applications using Microsoft SQL Server
•Working experience on administering a CMS, preferably SDL Tridion platform (nice to have)
•Experience in Installation and Configuration of Active Directory server, Group Policies, performance monitoring, DNS.
•Good hands on experience on IIS setup and configuration.
•Understanding of 3 tier production architecture.
•Configure storage, Network configuration
•Add/remove windows services
•OS security hardening
Business Knowledge: Domain experience would be a plus
